Honestly, something I keep saying while streaming Grounded is how important it is to get every single Armour Set in Grounded even if you choose not to upgrade them because they can come in very handy no matter where you are in the game. The same can be said about Armour Sets, though I have to say the passives from Armour Sets are much more interesting as they can protect you from particular forms of damage or can even give you passives that help with things like basing or other menial tasks.
Now, even in Grounded there are a few moments where players wouldn’t want to use lower-tier Weapons simply because their stats are… well lower, but the awesome thing is that you can upgrade any Weapon to deal more damage meaning that if you like a passive from a Weapon, you can extend the usability of it. Terraria, for me, was one of these games as many of the early game weapons were awesome and had some cool passives, however, they weren’t useful in the late-game specifically because of their stats. Not only can players choose various Weapons and Tools in the game, each having utility even in the end game, players will also have access to a great amount of Armour Sets that each come with their own effects when worn as a full set, but can also get hidden bonuses when upgraded with Sleek.Īs someone who has played a good amount of Survival Craft games, I have to say that it typically bothers me when Weapons become useless simply because they cannot be upgraded or brought into the late game. One of my favourite things about playing Grounded is the immense amount of versatility and customization that players will have access to in the game.
